But it was that very overspending on the military that led to its downfall. What made the USSR special wasn't that it had the best army or the best weapons. What made it special was that it liberated the Working Class, it radically improved the lives of the people, it managed to turn a backwards nation into one of the most advanced in the world, all while helping other nations to liberate themselves from imperialist tyranny. The USSR was great because of the good it did for humanity.
USSR overspended because of USA, I think about 10%-7% of USSR gpd went to milltary. But gpd isn't good way to measure a socialist economy, if you want to see how good a certain socialist economy is doing/did you have to look at other statistics. like how soviet literacy went from 20% or smt like that, to 90% which even means the adults got free education

German supply lines were broken and not planned out. By start of Barbarossa Africa was basically lost. Italians lost the Egyptian string of supplies leading to 100,000 starved soldiers fighting in desert. Hitler never sent anything to Africa and was hell a stupid for that. Ok back to your argument. If you really think Allies supplied Soviet Union so much while they had to fight a war in Japan and in Africa and a sea war whit Germany then you are too stupid or young for this argument. The USSR was a very good and idealistic nation to have in human history. Yet, there are certainly flaws that make it existence a certain failure in the end. The first is the ideology it seek is one that is impossible to achieve with the progress of mankind at the moment it exist and atleast a fair amount of future to come. There's something ironically depressing about this video. So much of it glorifies the Red Army and the military might of the Soviet Union. But it was that very overspending on the military that led to its downfall. What made the USSR special wasn't that it had the best army or the best weapons. What made it special was that it liberated the Working Class, it radically improved the lives of the people, it managed to turn a backwards nation into one of the most advanced in the world, all while helping other nations to liberate themselves from imperialist tyranny. The USSR was great because of the good it did for humanity.

While the real Soviet army is in Moscow thinking Germans would attack the capital. 700,000 allied German troops (Romanian, Italian, Bulgarian, Hungarian) lost life's in first few months of fighting. German supply lines were broken and not planned out. By start of Barbarossa Africa was basically lost. Italians lost the Egyptian string of supplies leading to 100,000 starved soldiers fighting in desert. Hitler never sent anything to Africa and was hell a stupid for that. Ok back to your argument. If you really think Allies supplied Soviet Union so much while they had to fight a war in Japan and in Africa and a sea war whit Germany then you are too stupid or young for this argument. But its fine bat parenting these days is way to common. Kids thinking Hitler is cool. Go play Roblox or something man. Ok back to it. Soviet Union never needed Allied supplies or could get it. The USSR was a very good and idealistic nation to have in human history. Yet, there are certainly flaws that make it existence a certain failure in the end. The first is the ideology it seek is one that is impossible to achieve with the progress of mankind at the moment it exist and atleast a fair amount of future to come. The second is that many natures of humanity is not just compatible for such kind of nation to work smoothly in long term
Yet, that was a noble cause to fight for, even if it was proven impossible.
I think you both are subjected to western propaganda about "human nature" and such. There is no such thing as human nature, only human behavior. Is it violence? Greed? Or cooperation and altruism? It depends on material conditions. The fall of the ussr is much more complicated (revisionism and liberal reforms ramping up from krushev onward), and it doesn't prove the impossibility of anything, like the fall of the first bourgeois city by aristocratic infiltration and violence didn't prove the impossibility of capitalism. The ussr and other communist countries are just the beginning, the first experiments of a new system, like the first bourgeois city just before the French revolution and the end of feudalism
The end of the USSR was not an organic process. It all started with the coup by Kruschev and the start of the dismantling of previous policies
